BOO people who don't speed up to merge

We've all been there, cruising down the freeway when BAM, all the sudden there is someone trying to merge onto the freeway going about 45 on a 75 mph freeway. Don't they realize that the on ramp is for speeding up to freeway speed? Then there are the chicken lane 2 mph mergers. These get into the chicken lane on a crowded street and instead of hitting the gas to get some speed to easily merge in, they slow down more and more until finally they stop and just chill in the chicken lane. I found that eHow has an excellent tutorial on merging if you or someone you know suffers from merging wussiness.

  1. Word! Some of this construction makes people a little crazy. Put an orange cone on a on-ramp and people suddenly seem to think they have the merge onto the freeway at 30. It may not be so bad for them, but it's really rough for the people behind them who now have to combat the angry truck driver for a spot on the freeway. That's why I wish I had a plow on the front of my car -- then I wouldn't mind showing them how it's done.

  2. People need to realize how much danger they put other drivers in when they enter the motorway doing 30 MPH. Do they not notice the smell of burning breaks as everyone behind them is breaking hard so they don't hit them. I think it all stems from the fact that people in general are only concerned about themselves and rarely considers others. Hence the drivers who slow down 2 miles before the next red light and don't care about drivers behind them.
