BOO Google Chrome's copy & paste

One of the biggest reason I try not to use Google's Chrome on my Linux box is because of its copy and paste bugs.  I know not to copy and paste from one screen to the next, but sometimes I forget and when I do it freezes up my browser.  How hard is it to get copy and paste to work, I am pretty sure this feature has been around since the beginning of web browser time.  There have been multiple bugs written up for this issue, but yet it still seems to be a problem. So boo Google Chrome's copy & paste.
